Join us at John Kemp Community Park on Labor Day weekend for Church in the Park, followed by our first ever Disciples Church BBQ Cook-off! On Sunday, September 5th, at 10AM we will gather to worship and hear a short message from Pastor Stu, and then we’ll enjoy some amazing food and time in community. If you want to participate in the cook-off please check out the details below. If grilling or baking isn’t your thing, please sign up HERE to bring something else to share.

As always, remember to bring a blanket or chairs to sit on!

BBQ Cook-off Details

• Bring your own BBQ/grill (there will be 2 permanent grills at the park for those who cannot bring their own)
• There are two categories:
  1. BBQ (of any sort)
  2. Pie (of any sort
• Make extra to share with all our DC folks
