Come on in, DC kids spaces are meant to be shared with our Disciples Family. Commonly found – music playing loudly, energy filled rounds of musical chairs, snacks generously shared with the floor, kiddos speaking in OUTSIDE VOICES, and Christ’s Love radiating louder and grander than anything else in the room.

Prayers are often spoken for sick family members, playground friends, and more school needs than can be mentioned. Lessons are given reading directly from the Bible and challenging kiddos to hide a few of those words in their hearts weekly. Amazing volunteers hold deep conversations with kids about their favorite Band-Aids, what they will do Sunday afternoon, and how many Cheerios they will eat in Nursery that morning. The purpose of those conversations? To let our kiddos know they matter and they are loved.

As we prepare to enter into a Season of Unity with the rest of Disciples, what is DC kids’ Ministry looking forward to?

For greater numbers of children to enter our rooms at the same time and to share in the same powerful moments of prayer and scripture together. Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them”
For our amazing volunteers to build stronger relationships with parents and each other.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 “Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed”

For us to be able to present unified challenges to our DC kids to love deeper, pray prayers for missions, and give generously to others. 1 John 4:7 “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God”

As Disciples enters into a season of unity, we are so excited to see what God does with and in our DC kids when we gather together in unity and oneness in Him. Join us in Unity ~ Join us at our 10am services starting Sunday February 25th!
